Millerton Lions Club Carnival Thursday 6/10/2010 5:00-10:00. Friday 6/11/2010 5:00 - 10:00. Saturday 6/12/2010 12:00 - 10:00. Sunday 6/13/2010 12:00 - 6:00. The Millerton Lions Club will host a carnival June 10th through Sunday June 13th to raise funds as part of its annual fundraising campaign. Funds donated by community members who purchase tickets for carnival and animal rides will be used to in so many ways to benefit many not-for-profit organizations and causes that the Millerton Lions Club supports every year in our community. Three other organizations will also stand to benefit from this event. The Millerton Fire Department, The Sunday in The Country Food Drive and American Legion Post 178 will be assisting the Lions with the running of the carnival, selling hot dogs, hamburgers, steak, sandwiches, french fries and more. The carnival will also feature classic carnival rides, animal rides, a petting zoo, midway and carnival foods presented by R.W. Commerford & Sons. |

Skillshare Workshop On June 5th we are holding a Skillshare Workshop at the Millerton, NY Library Annex. Hopefully the day will provide a fun introduction to other DIY makers in the community and perhaps a new hobby. Consisting of four one hour blocks of three classes each, we plan to make the event free for participants. Topics range from beginning beekeeping and basic html to solargrams and jewelry making.
